
Simply Meditating with Asha is a five week meditation series. Starts 10/13/11.
* It is an opportunity to create sacred space for each individual to find their own spiritual journey for themselves.
* Asha will guide meditations that are open to people of any religion, who are interested in quieting their mind & connecting to the essence they most want to embody.
* Meditation can bring silence to our lives (something we rarely experience in the West), and silence can bring clarity and a profound connection to Self, the world, and all of creation.
* There have been numerous studies linking meditation to reduction of stress, increase of brain activity (focus, memory, learning and consciousness ), and improvement in health conditions, such as migraines, blood pressure, etc.
* This series is open to beginners and those wishing to continue & deepen their meditation practice.
"I want to demystify what meditation is. You do not have to be a monk living in the caves in the Himalayas for years to meditate (although this sounds glorious compared to some of my days!) Meditation can happen as we connect to our children and bring presence to the moment. Meditation can be five minutes a day; meditation is being fully awake in this moment. Coming to meditate once a week is a beautiful start to bringing this way of living to life. It is my intention to bring NO DOGMA, and create space for each person to get what they most need to get that day." -- Asha
